In 1998 the Vollans were in search of a business opportunity that offered both product diversity and corporate leadership. They found those qualities with marketamerica, and launched their business, initially focusing on the nutraMetrix product line. Craig and Kirsten have achieved a great deal of fulfillment though the business as it offers opportunities to meet new people and help them realize their entrepreneurial dreams while growing their own business. Realizing steady growth, Craig and Kirsten expanded into other marketamerica product areas and incorporated in 2007 at The Vollan Group.
Craig and Kirsten both come from a long line of entrepreneurs. Craig’s family was involved in breeding Arabian horses and Kirsten’s in the marketing of shallots. The opportunity to grow their own business was a natural step for both. Kirsten was born and raised in Oregon and Craig’s been here since the 1980s, when he met Kirsten and they married.
